Since the year 2011, gynaecologists of the AVA Clinic commence active application of diagnostic hysteroscopy in their practice. This method provides wide possibilities to diagnose and treat different pathologies of uterine cavity (to liquidate endometrial polyps, septums of uterine cavity, myoma nodes, etc).
From June 14 to June 16, doctors V.Fodina, J.Ljakutins, and J.Brikune participated at a very interesting training in hysteroscopy (”Modern Hysteroscopy”). The training went on in the European Academy of Gynaecology-Surgery in Luvena, Belgium. It was a great opportunity to acquire new knowledge in the modern hysteroscopy, to discuss details of application of this method with leading European specialists, and to share practical knowledge.
In the Europe, the diagnostic hysteroscopy is widely applied to patients planning to perform extracorporeal fertilization in order to exclude possibility of uterine cavity pathology and to improve results of in vitro fertilization. Interesting news on the process of treatment of endometriosis was found out.
It is very important that the diagnostic hysteroscopy can be applied to patient ambulatory; and this method does not require special preparation and anaesthesia. Mastering of this method and the newly obtained experience of doctors will help to set diagnosis to our patients in one hour and to apply modern treatment in the AVA Clinic.
