Another meeting of all international network AVA clinics took place in Riga on 3 September 2010
This meeting is usually held every three years and in Riga it has been run for the second time. After all, Riga is a very beautiful city with a unique architecture, but the Baltic Sea with its unforgettable beach and severe beauty makes come back to Latvia again.
In this meeting participated the leading doctors-reproductologists and embryologists from AVA CLINIC in Tampere, Turku and Saint Petersburg.
These regular meetings not only give an opportunity to discuss and analyze the results of work of different network AVA clinics, but also to share their practical experience in various fields of reproductive medicine and to elaborate the common standards of work for all clinics.
The meeting consisted of two parts. The first part was a scientific conference which took place in the hotel “Domina Inn”. At the conference the leading embryologists and doctors-reproductologists representing different AVA clinics submitted their reports.
In their reports they covered the issues of vitrification of oocytes, embryo vitrification, embryo donation, as well as donor programs for single woman.
The scientific conference was concluded by the discussion where all participants of the conference could ask their questions to speakers and holding company management.
The second and final part of the meeting was a banquet which was held on the Baltic Sea shore in a cosy restaurant “Orizzonte” and though the weather was rainy and cold, as it is typical for Latvia, the warm and friendly atmosphere that prevailed that evening will be held in remembrance until the next meeting. After all, this evening was devoted also to celebrating the fifth anniversary of the AVA CLINIC Riga.
